Owen and I spent the early Saturday hours dying eggs for the very first time.
I saw this color gradation technique over at the blog El Hada De Papel and wanted to give it a try.
It wasn't perfect but a few broken eggs later (all my fault by the way) we had some pretty nice eggs.
The orange one was probably my favorite.
On the backside of the darker eggs were speckles of light. Owen said it looked like stars.
Or maybe galaxies. Yep, our eggs were painted with scenes from the Hubble Space Telescope.
No biggie.
